This third season of Invincible was incredible. The pacing was good, the storytelling was great, the fights were fine and the characters were even better than before. I have one problem though, I'm starting to get worried about the power creep they've been building with Mark and the Viltrumites, in my heart I feel that's on purpose because of how the show portrays the effects super hero beings have on the lives of the average humans, but as a critic it feels like they've been digging a hole that'll make future fights kinda boring like a couple ones we had this season.
Addendum: The animation overall was ok/kinda rough, I think they need to do something more clear to portray speed in the fights. I know comparison is lame, but animes do it in such a great way. Yes, completely different art styles, I'm just saying it's possible. And this is nothing on the artists, it feels like a choice the director made or didn't.
@dropdan what about Eve? WHAT ABOUT EVE!! I feel there is something massive there and I hope they can pull it off, because I'm getting the same feeling than you. Cool ending of the season doh, I was sure it was going to be a bit more predictable.
@dropdan@AnaVinuela WHAT ABOUT EVE? Seriously that was absolutely incredible, I literally stood up in my chair. SERIOUSLY!!! My """"prediction"""" is that she's gonna be the key against the Viltrumites, along with Mark, Oliver, and their Omni man, but she's gonna be THE character that'll make them have a fighting chance. The Eve power "goo" on Mark's costume was definitely an important bit. And I didn't mention the fight in the main post because I wanted to talk spoiler-less about it.
@dropdan yesss, that gooo. I think we are still encouraging people to watch it, not spoiling. But I'm with you on this, she is good, she is great, she is EVE. And agreed, all characters have grown quite nicely. I'm (desperately) looking forward to the next season.
@dropdan@AnaVinuela Thanks for the reply, I get overly excited about my silly things, it's always good when someone wants to add or even disagree with something. And that's my main point, I wanted to share something people could read and still enjoy the show without spoilers if they decide to watch it. Eve is so great, I'm happy with how well they've been developing her character, the more important thing for me is that she's not "Mark's girlfriend" she's her own self, with her own problems and qualities that are about her and not about how they make the main character feel more important. To my last point that'll always exist in some level because she's not the titular character, but she still exists outside of him. Sorry that I'm kinda confusing.
@dropdan Silly things are the BEST! I'm glad I get to talk about a show I enjoy with people that enjoys it too. I enjoy every character is well defined and as you said, not just the one or two main characters. Debbie moving on, Cecil looking human.. Even Nolan turning more human. Sorry, minor spoiler here.. Maybe, maybe..
Now I feel we need the next season to come out now, so we can talk about it every week. 
@dropdan in the comics the power creeps is already there, like viltromite seems to be stronger than the animation. The show also give more screen time for Donalds and other characters. (Donald learned about his Sinclair engineered/ reanimen body very early)
