@david if you're stuck with Gutenberg, I'd suggest using ACF to make your blocks, no build processes needed!
@david@amber this is true, and I do like ACF for that.
But I'm working on updating a custom plugin of my own that I want to share with others without dependencies (other than the CMS that is becoming toxic)
@david ah man gotcha. We've only used Gutenberg for a couple of projects because the client insisted, otherwise we keep it OFF lol.
@david@tech.lgbt I have some fiction I want to write that requires a scrolling twitch-chat imitation to feel sufficiently diagetic.
Think I should just figure out how to host it on raw html or do you think that'd be doable in Wordpress? :p
@david@violet I think that while it would be doable in WordPress, you'd still be using some raw HTML to control it at some point or another. Like JS to make the twitch chat scrolling
