enby nerd with disabilities still needs help repairing their PC to get back to work

(it's me!)

So close, so will keep posting in the hopes this might happen this month, still. Thankful beyond words to everyone! 💜

My motherboard died, and I've not been able to accept contract work since, which have been my sole income stream for some time. My setup is ~7 years old, so I'm stuck replacing my CPU & RAM in addition to the mobo.
On my own I'm stuck: no 'puter -> no work -> no funds to fix 'puter

A dear friend set up a to raise the funds I need (gofundme.com/f/new-pc-for-shis) which is on the home stretch.
If you have the means & want to help, every bit helps! I've listed other ways to contribute in the 👇 replies 👇

I'm looking at the lowest-priced locally-available mATX AM4 board, Ryzen 5 5500 & 2x16GB kit of DDR4, the cost + S&H of which the GFM goal should just cover.

@shi can't donate but can provide affirmation

For some reason I processed "enby" as trans and for the life of me I couldn't figure out from the embedded picture if you're transfem, or just transmasc and very gay

And then I reread the post and it said enby what

Btw great GoFundMe post! Lots of them sound like "I need money and spamming requests here", and like, although they're real and justifiable they just don't y'know, read well? Idk how to put it.

But yours sounds very, genuine? I don't know, something about it is very human.

@laxla Well you just made this soft-masc enby bean's day :3

And thank you! I spend a lot of time writing the posts attempting to provide all the pertinent info (why need help? 'puter real ded 💀. why not 'just get a job'? enby nerd real disabled. why not just buy mobo? compy real old. what's money gonna go to? cheapest reasonable mobo, cpu & ram available locally) while trying not to traumadump too much about how the situation has affected me, etc.
So I'm elated to hear it reads authentic and heartfelt :)
