State of streaming 2024: there was a tv show i wanted to try, and amazon had the first ep free. watched that, then decided to buy the seasons.
i know google is awful, but i still like them more than amazon, so went to buy season 1 there.
- looks like it bought it on my other gmail account
- looks like it bought seasons 2 of the show, not season 1
- talking to support now, they can't find the tx at all. i have the receipt in the email of one account, and it shows up in the order history of the other
- chat's typing indicator is the same spinner they use for the AI bullshit, so while i'm pretty sure i'm talking to a person, i have approximately no confidence that there isn't an ai "helping" involved.
50 minutes later, i'm still talking to support trying to get them to maybe give me a refund, dunno why i even bother.
