I think I'm really gonna love my class on chaos and fractals this semester. Today's lecture consisted of the professor playing with a parabola in some graphing software and showing us whole new dimensions of surprising behavior hidden within, using the simple tool of iterative mapping. My mind was blown.
Then again, I haven't taken a math class in, like, 20 years, I may be a wee bit rusty, and the professor said it will be very hard. So, we'll see how that goes!

@abucci Indeed! I had seen them before in passing, but it was lovely to have someone really thoroughly examine a system with them and give a guided tour. He's a great lecturer.
