Inspecting an OTA update for watchOS, I did a Quick Look on a .bom file. It did not come up with a generic file icon and was reportedly generated by version 1.3 of Suspicious Package.

Not being able to find this app installed on my computer, I freak out a bit until I discover it is only a Quick Look plugin—this one being from 2012…

How this software still works in 2024, I don’t know, but could Apple stop breaking everything else and forcing upgrades? ‘Kay thanks.

I’m still salty about iTunes. And about things needing to change so much in general. You invest time in learning a thing, developing processes and features around a thing. and then totally redoing it and now the user and developers need to potentially start over (I’m talking about websites too now). What I crave most now is some stability.
