new server so i guess i should redo my #introduction post!
hi, i'm august, a 30yo academic-hopeful with too many hobbies.
i cook, bake, garden, make/repair things, sew and pattern-draft, play several instruments, and occasionally write folk punk songs, all with varying levels of efficacy.
outside that, i'm currently working on an honours thesis project understanding the recovery needs of people who overcome alcohol problems outside established modes of treatment. i'll be posting more about that over at @itsaugust
it is safe to say i am happiest when i'm teaching myself a new skill. if it sounds like i have an ADHD diagnosis, that's because i do. if it sounds like i'm gay, that's because i am!

@dexamfetamine The Patti Fiasco (super small, I used to live near where they were based and saw them play some some shows, but large enough that they both still exist and have music available online).
I lost the habit of going to small local shows at some point so I'm way out of touch with my current scene.
