It just read up on it. It was in the 1990s until 1999 or 2004.
I always wondered how banning using cryptography would solve anything.
You only hinder otherwise legal uses anyways. Why should criminals be bothered by laws?
Same with chatcontrol btw. Either legislators are dumb or they don't tell the real reason they want it.
