I think the reason we're dealing with so much misinformation now-a-days is that no one has a facts machine anymore
@LilahTovMoon An inkjet fax machine? That's two cursed technologies for the price of one.
@LilahTovMoon@tech.lgbt Gonna fax some facts
@LilahTovMoon
We recently (as in: just last month) had to register a virtual fax number, because an agency we are dealing with still has a policy of communicating with vendors only via fax. No joke.
@LilahTovMoon Facts faxing.
@LilahTovMoon Wait, wait, WAIT. Isn't that a facts-simile?
@LilahTovMoon You have not been to Germany
@LilahTovMoon Germans and Japanese are putting on their scepticals, tho.
@LilahTovMoon i still have one, but the service has been disconnected a long long time ago
@LilahTovMoon
Well, working in IT whenever I hear someone talking about digitalising German bureaucracy I recommend: cobbler stay with your bootstrap stretchers!
Seriously - as FAX machines are the living symbol of analogue processes relying on paper, this way they can make less wrong.
@LilahTovMoon
Facts hurt my ears
