javascript or godot....
i want to make shitty flash-no-longer-exists games, and shitty funny shit, and its like, ick godot script is whitespace, but i have an engine that has a bunch more shit built in.
javascript however is Actually Useful While Touching Grass, and like, can do a whole lot more, but you gotta kinda like, do more work yourself
i think javascript will win just because curly braces. but i am really impressed with what Godot does.
@DrJankenstein interesting. I know little to nothing about Godot or any engine but I do know SOME about JS haha - and I know enough to know it runs EEEEVERYTHING so for me, that would be my choice. It's just always gonna be around. That's not to say I'm ANY good at writing it. 
@jake4480 yeah, ive done a little bit with it, it does everything i want it to do in a much easier way for me to grok.
@DrJankenstein if your case against whitespace is that you think it is bad language design, I fear you will not like javascript either
@ecori its not that its bad design, i just really really struggle with it and i dont want to fight my tools. It definitely seems pretty powerful but i hated python for the same reason, and i can say python is a pretty well designed language.
javascript is three languages in a trenchcoat stapled together with rubber bands and glue to try and do All the Things, but syntax wise ive worked with it before and i can wrap my brain around it.
