The #MacPlusClone is now 85% complete!
I went a bit mad last night and soldered *everything*
I really should start a Hackaday.io page on it.
Obviously there's still two ICs that need to have equivalents made - the IWM and the SND chip.
Unfortunately I've been hit by good ol' bad mental health, so although my IWM implementation is possibly working - I still need to test it.
Thankfully the SND chip is a pretty simple affair that I can easily clone.
I do have a parts Mac plus logic board, so I'll probably borrow the SND and IWM until I've got a complete implementation of both of those chips.
However! It's getting very very close.
Also because this is a very nice example of a Mac plus board, I'm planning on mounting it onto a wood panel, akin to my SE.
Yes, that will be on a wall at some point.
Actually if I get my 512k board back, I could have a "history of the Macintosh" as functional wall art
