When I got a #prostateCancer diagnosis I used my #reiki, supplements, and, energy healing ALONG WITH Eligard and stereoscopic radiation beam therapy.
There is no need to abandon #science for #spirituality. I recommend doing both if you’d like, but do not give up on science.
@Citizenkahn Shrug. When I broke my arm I visualzed it healing. But the cast probably helped a little.
@lemgandi even if it didn’t do anything physically, it might’ve done something psychologically. Sorry to hear that that must’ve been difficult.
@Citizenkahn Sigh.
IF you get sick
AND someone does something intended to make you well
THEN you get better
No power on earth or in heaven will convince you that what they did had no effect.
@lemgandi what is the problem of doing both? Go to the doctor, evaluate the medical options, pick the ones that makes sense in consultation with the doctor. And then do something on top of that. Maybe we can never tease out with the difference between what part of the medical intervention played and the other played. Is there a problem with that?
@Citizenkahn Opportunity cost. We only have about 680,000 hours on the planet. If you spend time and money on getting your Aura combed, or Reiki, or Acupuncture, then you're not spending that time on actually useful medical interventions or even, like, learning about science.
@lemgandi @Citizenkahn When I got prostate cancer, a read doctor Walsh’s book, was politically active, And had Reiki as a daily practice as a part of my meditation
I watched this TV. I think it was fine
@lemgandi @Citizenkahn I watched less TV
@lemgandi it’s funny. What I was trying to say in my post was that people who are gonna do Reiki anyway should also do the standard medical interventions on top of it. All the pushback has come from folks are medical only. Makes me think I’m not reaching the folks who are Reiki only.
