My frustration with is while it seems fun to try, anytime I try to get involved with an open source project that uses it they have incomplete instructions that don't even half work that take some tribal knowledge in working with rails for granted. Some basic pointers would be appreciated.

@toryalsip I hear you. Do you have a particular example? It’s a forest for the trees issue I think. Those familiar don’t know what it’s like from the outside.

When we hire new team members for our company projects I ask them to pay particular attention to what’s unclear and document. They think it’s them but I try to reassure them that it’s our problem if we haven’t explained it properly.
