I'm still not convinced by #Pixelfed. It seems a bit clunky and unmaintained – and it's written in PHP, so I have no desire to contribute PRs.
The only thing it does which posting pics on Mastodon doesn't, is allows images to have a license specified. So *if* I care about that – which is a big "if" – I'll just state it in the toot text, I suppose.
