Sending more praise to Core20 by @scottfgray : The game references boons and banes (which I have as boons and conditions, but had been considering bane) and just being on the same mental wavelength as another designer makes me feel good.
@pangoriaF Though the underlying concept appears in a lot of places (including 5e, though 5e doesn’t give it a name), CORE20 actually borrows the baseline idea of boons and banes from Rob Schwalb’s Shadow of the Demon Lord (with Rob’s generous permission).
