Happy Spring!
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
— William Wordsworth, 1802
We have daffodils in bloom in our yard.
Whoa, university memory from out of nowhere. <3
@SunnJax Happy spring, my friend! Hope it brings a spring to your steps....
@AncTreat5358 Thank you.
@SunnJax Man, I hate all the misattributions of quotes that happen on the interwebs.
Do your homework, dummy. "Daffodils" was written by Bullwinkle, not whoever "Wordsworth" is!

@msbellows @SunnJax it's obviously a made-up name. A bit too on point don't you think?
@mossyfoot @SunnJax EXACTLY! "Wordsworth" obviously is a clumsily-chosen nom d' plume! Like "Longfellow"!
@msbellows Calling me a dummy is rude and unkind. It’s not funny, and I don’t appreciate it.
@SunnJax My apologies! I was jesting! Pure snark! I was in English major and know Wordsworth, and appreciate you sharing his poem! It's just that many, many people of my generation first heard that poem via the Bullwinkle cartoon on Saturday mornings, because it was repeated over and over.
