Who are these drivers that yell out their window about how you should use the bike lane? This bike lane full of gravel? Have they ever used a bike?

Public

@enobacon It can go both ways though. In my area we have bike lanes everywhere in town, and wide shoulders in the country, and people still choose to ride in the street. Someone on reddit once tried to tell me "well you don't know what's in the lane, maybe they were going around something."

Yeah nice try. I'm riding a motorcycle, I have to process things in the road at a much faster speed. They were going around something? You mean that small branch half a mile back that wouldn't stop a skateboard?

@Shdwdrgn @enobacon Tell me you don't ride a bicycle without telling me you don't ride a bicycle.

@Karstan @enobacon I do ride a bicycle too. Yes I know what can be easily ridden over and what you have to go around. And when there are cyclists in front of me I scan the shoulders to see if there's any reason they might suddenly swerve into the highway.

The short answer -- 9 times out of 10 there is nothing that justifies their attempts at suicide. And the rest of the time... half these idiots aren't swerving, they're just riding on the highway. Through rolling hills where traffic might not see them.
