We're people, not pronouns. Our gender is not just our pronouns. Nonbinary people use all kinds of pronouns, not just “they/them”.
So please don't call us “they/thems” 🙄
Our website focuses on pronouns and gender neutral language – but it's worth reminding that language is just one of many aspects of the transgender experience 😉
PBS has prepared a great resource: a map of gender-diverse cultures! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
“On nearly every continent, and for all of recorded history, thriving cultures have recognized, revered, and integrated more than two genders.”

can you believe that the first version of the website was a simple as this? 🤯

@PronounsPage the "I don't even know how to translate that into my language" thing has an easy solution: go read queer authors who publish in your language and see how they are doing it, or just ask them if you don't have time/money to read their books. And if you don't know any or don't want... that's a signal that maybe you shouldn't be the one translating that.
we can't believe such a perfect domain name was still available 😅
say hi to the new address of the Spanish version of http://pronouns.page 🎉
using people's correct pronouns is not rocket science, and it doesn't take much effort. all you need is respect and mindfulness.
humankind should be perfectly capable of respecting pronouns while also tackling urgent issues. don't make up excuses for being transphobic.

Democrats need to once more become the party that gets stuff done, builds things and makes government work for people. That’s a lot more important to most Americans than using the right pronouns.

Zaparszamy do lektury!

One of our team members, Shio, created a tool that lets you quickly check if there's “Gender Critical” content under a given twitter handle (currently optimised for Japanese). Check it out 😉
