Here's the problem, the issue, the proverbial gun to the head of narrative games like PbtA, VtM, BitD, Candela, etc: Those who play it online, that I have seen, dress up. The role play it heavy. They stay in character. They do too much.
It feels like if I'm going to play it, I have to be "ON". I don't want to be "ON" on my relaxing time. Show me VtM, but like how I play d&d with my friends on a saturday in a game store.
@pangoriaF having played/run a few WoD games online... None of us have dressed up and there's usually at least one immersion breaking mid game discussion about something tangential a session. Honestly outside of a special occasion anyone 'dressing up' for a game session is a huge red flag.
@pangoriaF i've played lots of pbta and it's usually relaxed and laidback. nobody dresses up and we break character a lot. (gotta make jokes about stuff!)
i feel like this depends a lot on the specific players
@risa @pangoriaF Same here with PbtA. And D&D or any of the others.
@Acantigue @risa I'm looking to find people who stream PbtA but who don't do what Critical Roll does to VtM or Candela. Do you do a show like that? Where PbtA is casual?
@pangoriaF @risa Hi! I am only familiar with small parts of main campaigns for Critical Role, but if I understand I would recommend Actual Play on Twitch (and You Tube, if I recall correctly) for when they swing around to PbtA games. And Open Hearth and Age of Raven You Tube channels for lots of regular play online although all do a variety of tabletop role playing games.

Found these two playlists from those suggestions. Sharing here so people who read this can kinda shortcut to it. Thanks! We will see how this goes!
@risa do you record and play online? For PbtA? Like how Dimension20 and Critical Roll and those kinds of people do?
Cause Vampire and Candela get dressed up to hell on those shows and they always do too much for them.
