Google now bakes user-tracking into Chrome.
I switched to Firefox, and I have all my extensions (and a few extra ones!) that I had on Chrome.
Now I even get this awesome dashboard from Firefox that automatically blocks a ton of junk:
@jesper I have ublock...
Which one is it?
@globcoco That's the internal Firefox anti-tracking you can activate in the settings!
I run a few other extensions, which I wrote about here: https://dramsch.net/today-i-learned/apps/today-i-learned-firefox-is-good-actually/
I'm gonna look at it.
Thanks.
Btw, I definitely use Firefox but I know it could go wrong quickly as Google is funding it.
So it's not the ultimate and safest one either (it's definitely better than Chrome-Chromium tho... for now)
Cheers
@globcoco Eh maybe, but there's essentially two browsers at this point Firefox and Chromium. So might as well get one degree of separation of influence from Google.
Get you... I also use Min (epiphany), Falkon, & Librewolf ;)
