@Subrote

So doctors will now have to recommend parents of obscured or intersex children leave the state.

These cruel men using hate because NONE of their policies are supported.

Do like policy one?
Nah...

How about this policy?
Are ya kidding?

We have this counter-reformation in the cards...
No, none of us support that.

Well, who do you hate?

@Subrote Trans is only a test run - they'll be going after Gay and Lesbians after that. This is step one. We should be lining up lawsuits.

Public

@sri @Subrote and they'll surely go after someone else after. Hate doesn't EVER "just stop". It has to always be moving from one target to another.

@Subrote scary times

The MAGA running Texas are appalling.

@Subrote #worldpride started this weekend in Sydney. It is a joyous celebration of diversity and most sydney-siders are proud to be hosts, I certainly am. Know that there is joy and acceptance out there.

Ironically Houston also bid for this event back in 2019 - smh.com.au/national/nsw/lobbyi.

The contrast is shocking but hope and inclusion will win out.

@Subrote I'm sure they'll force LGBT people to wear armbands before too long.

History is repeating itself in a very not good way.

@Subrote sadly it will likely pass.
And I want to alert parents thinking Republicans want to affirm your parental rights, this is openly removing you and your choices of medical care for your child by threatening Drs who might consider providing healthcare. It will affect the level of care your child receives if your healthcare provider cannot speak to ALL your child's concerns without fear of prosecution.

@Subrote @Sarenth do I understand this correctly if what it technically does is make a medical provider legally responsible for all costs associated in any way with gender affirming care for a patient that is given it, which means it’s economically impossible to provide it because it’s too broad?
Public

@Subrote I’m pretty sure this is against the ACA. They’re going to have to go up against the feds on this. It won’t stand. But it is still scary they keep trying this shit.

@Subrote but theyre fir small government... when it favors them... and when its the "other" they have been told to hate and reinforced to hate by their bigoted media, the only solution is to get the fk out of there. We know what comes next. And its never good. When do we call texas or Florida a fascist state? Because they are.

Public

@Subrote im doing anything i can to reach out to my white moderate dad. i think hes already gone. hed rather be a fascist than a socialist and he knows it

@Subrote this is very frightening. I have a trans grandson, this makes me want to cry for those beautiful, vulnerable kids in Texas.
