Where our social media - and press - seem to be heading, much faster than we could all imagine ...
@Natasha_Jay "i'll take deplatform these fools for 500, Alex"
@Natasha_Jay@tech.lgbt turns out idiocracy was an optimistic take
@jiub
Toxicracy it seems
@jiub @Natasha_Jay An underrated film.
@Natasha_Jay OMG and this is where we are at in our society. The guy who reads something on FB is now considered the medical expert compared to an actual MD.
@Natasha_Jay Sue seems to be a rather clear reference to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grievance_studies_affair
@Natasha_Jay Can't tell if game show or just the new Republican Congress.
@Natasha_Jay I want to see this turned into an SNL sketch
@Natasha_Jay I think we are already there to be honest. I hate this timeline.
@Natasha_Jay Trying to humiliate all the others by giving a correct answer is very arrogant. We do not accept people who want to raise themselfs above others.
@Natasha_Jay this trend started in the 1960s, but Trump really carried it to an EXTREME. Today, people assume that this is normal. It should only be allowed in opinion sites, like FB, mastodon, threads, and others. News sites (including their opinion pieces) should be STRONGLY fact-checked. If not willing (or not passing), then the piece (or entire site) should be closed either temp or perm.
@Natasha_Jay and politicians.
@Natasha_Jay I don’t think I agree with your point here. Maybe if you’d used ALL-CAPS, I’d be convinced
cc @zdfmagazin sowas müsst ihr mal in der Sendung machen! Falls nicht schon geschehen und ich's verpasst hab
