I think I've finally figured out why I love Tumbleweed so much. It's simply due to it being stable AND a rolling release. It feels just great to use.

Also, as someone who loves GUIs, YaST is just a dream come true. I've tried lots of other distros, but rarely have I come back to one time and time again.

@Jae looks cool. If I had an extra laptop I'd try it. Have you tried #Fedora before? That's the #linux distro I started using and I think it's similar that it's a healthy in-between of stable and cutting edge

@Jae laughs in NixOS Unstable

But yeah looks pretty cool, might check it out in a VM

@kenos I've actually never tried NixOS! I've heard more and more, so I think it's only a matter of time till I try it.

I'd definitely recommend giving openSUSE Tumbleweed a shot. It's a great rolling release that just works, from my experience!

@Jae Do you know if is now possible to update/upgrade the system automatically or with a GUI/YaST?.

I love the CLI, but zypper dup is not for most of my non-geeky friends/family.

I really would love to be able to install TW in their laptops.
