NES/Famicom emulator colour palettes all suck (except mine of course).
Mine is here: megatokyo.moe/dl/fc_palette/01
The only other NES palette I really like besides mine is "BMF Final V2" but mine is still better (IMO). Nestopia's YUV "Canonical" takes third place for me. Game is Metal Slader Glory.

@wyatt8740 Isn't the issue with the NES/Famicom pallete is that it varies depending on PPU revision and what television you use? Like I think US NTSC and JP NTSC use different black levels for some reason so the same console could have different brightnesses on each region's equipment. Some of these do look way off compared to others though.

Ultimately, it is just down to personal preference but it is somewhat annoying that there are no 'truly objectively fully correct' palettes for emulators.

@infinity48 that's part of it yeah
I agree there's no objectively correct one, but subjectively mine are around the range of TV adjustments that feel correct for me.

@infinity48 also the Famicom and NES output the same brightness levels regardless of region, you just aren't supposed to use the blackest black outside of Japan because it could be mistaken for a sync pulse elsewhere. But the TV's "brightness" control was usually adjusted accordingly so that wasn't a big deal
