Might as well post my pics somewhere. They used to go on Zuckernet / Birdsite but I'm feeling disinclined to donate to billionaires.

So, some pics from yesterday. My first visit to the Danish town of Korsør.

The cliffs just north of Korsør; the sea (Storebælt) to the left. In the distance, the bridge (Storebæltsbroen) which connects Sjælland and Fyn.

Looking the other way, south to Korsør.

Korsør, seen from the north and probably about 80m up. The sea (Great Belt) to the right, the land to the left. In the distance, the town, with the naval base.

The town at sunset.

Just minutes before sunset, so the light isn't great, but Korsør seen from some 60m above the town centre. A church (Skt Povls Kirke) centre mid-distance. The sun is setting on the left. In the distance, the sea (Storebælt) and the bridge (Storebæltsbroen).

An imposing old building (1800s?) with a clock tower topped by a giant crown. A cloudless blue sky.

By the harbour. I'm not sure but I would guess that this is an old customs building.

A painted red building which alas I am not good at describing because I lack architectural vocabulary. It looks about 150 years old. About 3 storeys high. Sorry.

After sunset; dark clouds. But there's enough light in the west til silhouette a military ship (a frigate? I'm not sure).
