finally managed to make the obsidian selfhosted livesync server to work. mostly because I never used couchdb before, but it was fun, always learning

but its not like Im going to use it, I was just messing with it. my preferred notetaking app is notesnook and I love it

@riiku Huh, interesting. Is the "main" Notesnook app self-hostable? I looked on their site and couldn't see anything that stood out.

@awfulwoman it kinda is, theyre actively working on making it easier, but if youre one of those docker wizards (im far from it) you can totally do it right now. theres a official guide on their discord server. the apps already have the option for the user to set the sync server URLs

@nicosomb @awfulwoman afaik is not totally out yet. like I said in the other reply, it's being actively worked on and you can follow the progress more closely in the official discord server

but you can totally do it right now if you have the knowledge
