I just tried to type “pennies,” like the coin, multiple times and each time my phone changed it to “Pennie’s” so im turning off autocorrect for the first time ever. Wish me lucj

@prehensile How people can handle autocorrect in the first place is a big mystery to me. I need to have absolute control over what I type. If my phone changes it while I'm writing I just lose my thought before I can even finish the sentence.

@prehensile i turned it off recently because for some reason it's normally fine with me typing toki pona but when i added french to my keyboard it had a conniption. it wasn't even correcting them to French words it was correcting them to nonsense
