Every time I show someone something on my phone I get a popup notification like "piss wizard liked your toot: 'i'm a gay little rat'"

@prehensile my phone wasn't connecting to the wifi at my new job so the IT guy came up just after lunch (when I'd been messaging someone on telegram) and had my phone for a solid five minutes as he played with the settings. I think I literally started sweating, and as soon as he gave it back I turned off message preview in notifications

@prehensile yeah that's intentional. A bit like how Anne Lister would casually mention lewd gay books to find lesbians in the 19th century.
