OK, #tailscale works together with #pihole , I'm very happy. It is also installed on my #synology #NAS

Next step: disable all Synology-related #portforwarding on my #router (especially 5000, 5001 and 6690 for Synology Drive).

I can't understand how to use my #DSM without those ports being forwarded. Do I need to autorise them somewhere? How does it work in conjunction with #QuickConnect or synology.me ?

@pepperz It uses #wireguard , but allows you to have a set of your systems talking to each other over VPN without having to manually manage each connection (key pairs, ...) individually. Each system that joins becomes part of a mesh. Much, much easier!

@gaufff hmm I am curious about the mesh system. So everything connected become a node, even devices that are connecting from different internet services like a cellphone connected through cell services too right?
