Hiya! Twitter refugee working in government tech as a developer of end user systems.
Recently hatched as non-binary so expect a lot of self discovery posts interspersed with tech talk.

Update: GP was the most understanding, professional person ever. Even went as far as to congratulate me on the realization and recognize that this had to have been difficult but I was very brave. Took baseline hormone levels and wrote up a good recommendation. I can't state how relieved I am that this show is finally on the road.

Currently waiting at the GPs office, today I'll find out whether I will be referred to the regional Gender clinic or not. 🤞

I definitely need to up my makeup - game but that's nothing that cannot be improved over time. First ever try using bits and pieces from the store and from what was already in the house.

One month out and proud and what a ride it has been!

I found out what I'll be wearing, mostly at least, and I feel relieved but also a bit disappointed in my reflection, but it also felt much more natural and ok than I had feared. Still, none of this would have been even imaginable just a short month ago.
Throwing it all on the wall and seeing what sticks, right? 😉

Come Monday, I am going on a "date" with a long lost friend of mine that has been a very good support online in the time after I admitted to myself that being Cis was no longer an option, and this is the first time in like 10-15 years we will meet IRL, and I am nervous as hell and feel like an imposter and could really do with some tips on how to, like, come as myself.
