@J12t@social.coop @hrefna I've been thinking that fedi projects should publish suites of compatibility tests. No need for a central activitypub authority. Just help other projects to interact with yours, and they should do likewise. I think that's in line with the recommendations in the link Hrefna posted up thread.

@Jenniferplusplus @Johannes Ernst [social.coop] @Hrefna (DHC) [hachyderm.io] Even then, even if someone clearly demands that "compatibility" refers to compatibility with the official #ActivityPub standards, many projects will misunderstand it and instead publish their compatibility with #Mastodon. And the devs will defend that by saying that standards compatibility doesn't matter, for all that matters in practice is Mastodon compatibility.
