@industrial_creami keep forgetting to turn my nas back on after the power goes out & my study's ups' battery has been exhausted.......
a nas is a tiny computer, rex. like most computers, it doesn't turn back on unless you do it yourself.
@industrial_cream although, i guess that would still need a board that knows to standby itself after a power outage

i don't think the ancient synology 1 i was using had wol either, so i'm not sure where the fuck i'm getting the idea it can turn itself back on after a power failure.
