Most of the past week I've been thinking of writing an article about the hard stances that some people have on FOSS usage. Instead I'll just say, "What does 'real world exposure' mean here?" It sounds demeaning.

The real world has a multitude of opinions and methods. Plus, if something exists, it is by definition a part of the "real world". Living is "real world exposure".

Apologizing for the volunteer work of someone else by belittling their contribution is not cool.
