me and @NucleicAcidTest want to mess with the DVI cable encoding on Thursday Feb 13th to make glitch art >:3
we want to stream it, so if you're curious about it, join at 18:00 CET on

:blobfoxdisputed: we have to move the stream because a friend needs help, so the new date is next Thursday (13 Feb) at 18:00 CET!

and the link is live.moonlit.technology/

we understood the encoding algorithm and now we'll start the actual coding bit!!

Public

@cqql we finished the encoding algorithm and tried out saving images as they are encoded for DVI cables! doesn't that make minecraft look more interesting

@NucleicAcidTest so we'll do part two where we implement the decoding. and then we'll turn everything into 4 strings of bits (there are 4 channels in single link DVI). after decoding from that is working, we can mess with the data and see what happens :3

Quiet public

@NucleicAcidTest here I looped that code on the same image 150 times

Quiet public

@NucleicAcidTest join us for part two this Friday at 18:30 CET
:3
we'll implement decoding the DVI signal and then we'll mess with the transmission!

@cqql we just started streaming! come join us :3

we planned part 3 of the hacking DVI stream with @NucleicAcidTest for Friday 28th Mar at 18:30 CET :ablobcatneon:

the second pic shows what the data bits look like for an encoded DVI signal of the first photo :3

this will be the most fun stream where we try to break the signals and algorithm >:3
