Christ alive. There's a fediverse-to-bluesky bridge set to activate soon and the service is opt *out*. That means all your content (public, listed only if the creator is to be believed) will be automatically ported over to a commercial social media platform without your express consent.
According to the creator, you can opt out by adding "#nobridge" to your bio or domain block "bsky.brid.gy".
Maybe think about telling this person what you think about their opt out strategy.

@chronohart
It sucks that individual users can't domain block without access to a user profile or post from that domain.
@chronohart Thanks, this is very informative, and I can see people on github open issues to expression the concern over privacy and ethics.
#MastoAdmin For my mastodon instance I preemptively added a "limit" in the admin UI against "bsky.brid.gy" and stopped delivery to this domain. Is this enough? Should I upgrade the block level to "suspend"?
@jing
Unfortunately, I couldn't tell you. I'm not an admin, so I don't know how the technical innards of the fediverse works.
