Thinking of setting up a local creating coding club of some sort. Maybe queer focused, maybe not. Would probably be a monthly meet up to begin with.
Hebden Bridge probably, reasonable transport links with Manchester / Leeds.

@alia I’ve been thinking some kind of local hack night event could be nice. I’m in Tod, WFH and too lazy to go to Manchester after work for meetups…
In my case it wouldn’t be game dev or with a queer focus.
@henrik Good to know there's others around! Will see where the interest is but it'll probably be general creative coding. I mostly do demoscene and livecoding stuff, recently been building a fantasy console, bits of gamedev to test that.
@alia I’m interested! I don’t get much time for my own creative pursuits but it’d be fun to meet some folks and potentially support them in theirs.
