@ShredderFeeder @SiteRelEnby Checking in with a lawyer after a layoff is never a bad idea. Many will do a free consult. They're going to understand the options a lot better than most people who have been laid off.

@SiteRelEnby@4censord Located + allowed to work in the US, also allowed to work in the UK and I would consider working for a UK company from the US if they would be ok with it, as long as they can provide good health insurance but I have zero interest in living in the UK again.

I'm up for moving pretty much anywhere decent (blue state, city that's safe for queer people and with good general job opportunities as my partner will need to find a job) if there's relocation assitance.

I had to do a double take on the "blue state" relocation...
Here in Aotearoa/New Zealand, as well as my birth-country, the Netherlands, Red/Green is "Left" and Blue is "Right" winged.
