To be trans perhaps no, to come out fully I increasingly would say yes ...

In a cis-normative society, many trans and non-binary people first need to question the cis-normative role society has given them and unlearn stereotypes to find themselves. On their way, they inevitably learn so much about society and themselves and get a perspective many privileged people never have.
