@Lydie@tech.lgbtIf I ever write a book, it'll be on my IBM XT. It turns on, and works. No logging into anything, no pending updates, no subscriptions, no surveys, no spying. My 80s PCs are more ready for uninterrupted work than anything modern. Sad isn't it?
@Lydie It probably also has no networking, so no distractions from Social media. What a productivity boost!
@Lydie I'm really sad my M240 had a battery leak, it's a great machine.
I always joke that for what I use computers nowadays I could be 80% productive in DOS.
