Thought last night before sleeping:

I really need to read more stories with women protagonists. Not just as part of the main cast, but actually as the audience POV character.

So many of my books, especially from childhood, were from the POV of boys/men, and that's really shortchanged me on role models now.

@AutumnMeowMeow It's really weird that this never clued me in at the time, but even long before I transitioned, I was pretty much done with male protagonists and only wanted to read books with women protagonists. While I haven't stuck to that 100%, I've done so as much as possible and I feel like it's enhanced my life tremendously.
